Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Faith Minute. They are written to be read, not to be skipped — if any of it is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.

1. Who these terms are with

Faith Minute (the “app”) is operated by [[LEGAL NAME]], based in Tunisia (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the app.

2. Minimum age

You must be at least 14 years old to create a Faith Minute account, or older if the country you live in sets a higher minimum age for using an online service without a parent’s consent.

Children under 14 are welcome to learn from the app, but on an account belonging to a parent or guardian, who remains responsible for it.

3. Your account

Faith Minute has no passwords. You sign in with a code sent to your email address, or with Google or Apple. That means access to your email is access to your account, so keep your inbox secure.

The information you give us must be accurate, the account is yours alone and not to be shared, and you are responsible for what happens under it. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account.

4. What Faith Minute is — and what it is not

Faith Minute delivers a short daily lesson: a verse, a hadith, a story, a word, a dua, a piece of wisdom, or a point of information, with a reflection and a practice. It is an educational aid for personal learning.

It is not a source of religious rulings. Nothing in the app is a fatwa, and it is not a substitute for a qualified scholar or teacher. For a matter that requires a ruling, or that affects a real decision in your life, consult someone qualified in your own context.

We take accuracy seriously. Qur’anic verses and hadith are attributed to their sources, and every lesson is checked before it is published. Translations are interpretations rather than the original text, and reasonable scholars differ. If you find something you believe is wrong, please tell us at support@faithminute.app — we would genuinely rather know.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Parts of Faith Minute require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Google, not by us.

The terms of the subscription

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends, at the price for the same plan.
You can cancel at any time in your Apple or Google account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for, and there is no partial refund for the remainder.
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact them — and tell us too, so we can help.
Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it.

We may change the price or what a plan includes. If we do, we will tell you in advance, and the change will only apply to periods after your current one. You are free to cancel rather than accept it.

6. Using the app properly

Please do not:

copy, republish or resell the lessons, artwork or design
attempt to break into the app, its servers or another person’s account
use automated means to scrape or bulk-download content
use the app to harass anyone, or to send us abusive or unlawful messages
misrepresent the app’s content as a religious ruling given by us

7. What belongs to whom

The words of the Qur’an and the recorded hadith belong to no one and are the shared inheritance of the whole community. The lessons we write around them, the translations we license, the artwork, the name and the design of the app are ours, and are protected by copyright.

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own learning, for as long as these terms are kept. Sharing a lesson with a friend is welcome. Republishing our material as your own is not.

Anything you send us — feedback, a correction, a suggestion — we may act on freely and without obligation, though we will never publish your message with your name attached to it.

8. Availability

We work to keep Faith Minute running, but we cannot promise it will always be available. The app needs an internet connection, and it depends on services we do not control. We may add features, change them or remove them.

If we ever discontinue the app entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund the unused portion of any subscription paid in advance.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Faith Minute and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where we are required to by law. Where it is fair to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content will suit any particular purpose of yours.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you take based on the app’s content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

None of this limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement, and nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

11. Apple and Google

Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the app. Where you obtained the app from the App Store, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim about the app is against us, not against them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Tunisia, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top shows the last revision. For a material change we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Faith Minute after that means you accept the new version.
